Following in the wake of our leading team the following grades make our security muscles
stronger. All ranks consist of both genders depending on the specific requirement of the
Client.
Junior Security Officer (JSO)
Fondly known as the foot soldiers, they take
the brunt of our security operations at location
spread all over the Sri Lanka. This is
the entry stage to the Security Profession.
The Female Junior Security Officers are
known as Lady Security Officers (LSO).
Senior Security officer (SSO)
This is a promotional cadre from the JSO
ranks. To be eligible for promotion to this
rank a JSO should possess a minimum
specified work experience and also be
subjected to an evaluation by a Promotion
Board. Persons with prior experience and
training and Junior Non Commission
(JNC) Level are also considered as entry
level for this cadre.
Special Task Group Officer (STGO)
This Group consists of Ex-servicemen who are proficient in performing high caliber,
specialized and personalized services. They have been subjected to grueling orientation
and are trained in Domestic, Commercial and Industrial Security Services. This Group is
much in demand by our prestigious clients spread across the country.
Officer in Charge (OIC)
They are in charge of small units comprising of both JSOs, SSOs and STGOs. These
persons are specially selected by taking into account their back ground and experience.
They too have to undergo specialized training and pass assessments prior to being
promoted/assigned. Preferred service rank for direct is Warrant Officer in the Army or the equivalent of other services.
Chief Security Officer (CSO)
They are in charge of Larger Units comprising
of OICs, SSOs, STGOs, JSOs and
LSOs. This cadre is mostly reserved to
Junior Commissioned Officers below the
rank of Captain.
Security Manager (SM)
All Security Mangers are
Ex-Commissioned Officers above the rank
of Captain or persons with Academic
and/or Professional Qualifications in the
field of Management and Security. To be
considered as an SM, the person’s experience
and exposure to related fields are
taken into account.
Range Manager (RM)
They are in charge of a dedicated
geographical area and manage the Units
comprising of SMs and their Units within
their range. Range Managers should have
a minimum of 10 years experience in the
field of Industrial and Commercial Security
Management.
General Manager (GM)
They are in charge of regions and all our
General Managers have come up from
ranks within the organization. GMs
should possess a minimum of 15 years of
hands on experience in the Management
level in the field of Industrial and Commercial
Security Management.
Watchguard Special Task Teams.
Intelligence Agent
These personnel are mainly drawn from
the Military Intelligence Corps and the
Police Force. They are experienced and
skilled to handle intelligence gathering,
processing and covert operations in to
meet the Clients operations internally and
externally.
Executive Protection (EP) Units.
This Unit has been specially trained in the
field of VVIP Security and Close Quarter Protection, Escorts and Convoys Protection.
These personal are also experts in Armed and Unarmed Combat. They are also part of
our Elite Rapid Deployment Unit (Sector 14).
Ceremonial Guard
This Unit is mainly utilized for duties involving public relation and people centred
occasions such as Weddings, Special Events and Festive Occasions. These Individuals
specially selected for their personalities and ability to interact with people to suit the
specific event.
Mufti Duties/Informants
These are plainclothesman detailed to operate undercover in specified locations to gather
information related to specific tasks and situations reporting to a pre-determined
authority either within the organization or to a designated representative of the Client.
Special Response Teams
These Units are continuously linked to the Watchguard Central Operations Command
Centre and will respond to any emergency at short notice. These Units are operative
round the clock. |
